We pour all exterior concrete with a 4000 psi mix for ultimate hardness and a 3500 psi for interior work. We are ACI certified in flatwork as well as decorative concrete.

Zip strips - control joints - are always placed in locations where basement floors are likely to crack, particularly around posts or off corners. The zip strips help control cracking, but they won't eliminate it entirely.
